OMSI – The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry

OMSI
1945 SE Water Ave
Portland, OR 97214
(503) 797-4000

There's something for everyone at OMSI! A Portland favorite, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is part science center, part playground, and completely enthralling for children and adults alike!

Come check out exciting attractions, hands-on exhibits, and interactive programs that bring science to life before your eyes at this family-fun destination. Older children will love the rumbling earthquakes in Turbine Hall, younger kids can let loose at the Science Playground, and everyone will enjoy the Kendall Planetarium with out-of-this world multimedia presentations about astronomy and space science. Of course, you won't want to miss the USS Blueback SS-581, a Portland landmark docked out back in the Willamette River. The U.S. Navy's last non-nuclear, fast-attack submarine has a teardrop hull and was recently featured in Hawaii Five-O.

Grown-ups can stop by OMSI After Dark to enjoy special dinner menus with wine and beer while exploring live demos and unique exhibitions at one of Portland's most popular museums.
